Hello, everyone
My name is Mary, I am from Greece and I adore Evgeni Platov. I don't speak russian, but from a very poor translator I think I understood some things about this voting. First of all it was a mistake to vote for pairs separately. And if I don't make a mistake, they had not the intention to invite them to the ceremony.
About Oksanas statement. Probably, she doesn't mean that they have problems in their relationship. I suppose, her words reflect more realistic their present professional status. They danced together in some events, but they are not a team any more. Evgeny is a trainer now. This is his priority in life.
Oksana is still dancing professionally, wherever she finds a job and with different collaborators.
I hope, they will find time to perform exhibitions together and make their fans happy. But they are not a skating team who appears everywere together. Not anymore. If we keep that in mind, we'll be more happy with their dances and less disappointed by their absence.

Dear Mary,

It is a very long story around 20yrs, and I do not like to go in details here....
The main reason it seems is in their characters. They both are very different characters/people and can not get along very well.
Let's wish them health, happiness, and success in their future endeavours.

I know their history. I mean if something happened recently, after they were reunited. Because,
the fact that they don't dance together, does not prove that they are in bad terms. A pair like them must always present something special. New routines need practice. Practice takes a lot of time. Evgeny has no time at all, training for the competitions. Performing, is not a priority for him any more.
Oksana on the other hand is still a dancer. She needs a partner at regular bases. She must learn to control her explosive nature if she wants to find one.
I hope that these two people will find a way to be friends even if they are not partners. Together they have gain everything possible. Dancing would stop eventually. Friendship could last forever.

Dear Mary,

You are sooooo wright!!! Friendship, respect, mutual understanding....these are the most important things in our life and I also wishe them for our dear G/P, but for some reasons they cannot come up with good relationship. Yes Evgeny is busy coaching but not so much, he has only One couple, I mean elite level and if he wants he could find time to skate professionally from time to time, in my opinion. Many other skaters are doing this..it is not impossible.. The other option, we were discussion here, was them coaching together and continuing the traditions of their great team...Here we got another puzzle, after many years of working alone Zhenka got back to Maya....
So he prefers to coach/work with Maya...by the way they G/P never tried coaching together to my knowledge...this is very telling...who knows why...

Of course this is their life and we cannot force them to do things against their will, they are grown up people..

I will try to write short resume of the com translation,

Our girls do not know what happened, these are only their speculations.
We try to understand why Oksana was scheduled to take part in the show Ice heart in October 17th in St-Peterburg together with Ruslan Goncharov not with Evgeny instead. Evgeny could have taken part in the show because he was at that time with his students in Finland. Finland and St-Peterburg are actually very close.

We thought that Oksana could have been offended by Evgeny's decision to coach/work with Maya..they started to coach together in Jully.
We also think/assume that because of this Oksanka has decided to look for a new partner..sort of revenge or so..

But this is only pure speculation on our part and could not be true, they still could have a nice relationship on and off ice.

The Girls are simply afraid/worried that they are not going to see G/P performing together on ice... anymore... GOD forbid..

Evgeny is a very kind man, trying to help his partner (Maya) to find work and earn money.
Oksana could have been offended. If that speculation is true, I hope she is clever enogh to realize she could not expect from Evgeny to stop his friendship with Maya. Besides, where will she find a partner better than him?
It would not have been a revenge, but a stupid professional decision.
She has an emotional and difficult character but at 36 she must become more wise.
Still, nothing of that could be true.
I don't think they will not perform together again....maybe we'll hear good news soon

Hello from me too.I'm from Greece too,there are many fans here,
I was so happy to see Zhenya performing again either way so I hope everything is OK and they will find a way.

Welcome Zoyz I also wanted to ask if you follow up on Evgeny's coaching career. He has done superb choreography this year for Sinead and John Kerr's free dance. And what is your favourite dance of Oksana and Evgeny?

I just watched the Kerrs free dance this year and it was great!He really made them so artistic this season!I'm glad he's coaching he's the only male ice dancer that can really do and show everything!
My favourite dances were Rock around the clock, Memorial Requiem, The feeling begins,The Blues from 93 and Libertango!It was absolutely amazing!And the quickstep OD!!!
